One of the added benefits of renovating is that you can organize your house at the same time! It’s not really something most people look forward to but let’s face it – what better time to reorganize than when everything is pulled out anyway?!? I’ve been on a major decluttering/reorganizing kick lately and thought I would share a few items and tips I discovered along the way.
Kitchen Organizer
This organizer is a lifesaver. I used to stack my pans, cutting boards, drying racks, cookie sheets, etc. on top of each other and would despise having to get one out. I’d wrestle with all the other items and half of them would fall and it would just be a complete disaster. This divider has solved that problem and is extremely heavy duty.
Lid Racks
Tired of having lids consume space in my cabinets, these lid racks were an excellent investment. I chose to hang them in my pantry but they can also be mounted on your cabinet door.
Drawer Dividers
These dividers are extremely durable and fit perfectly in my kitchen drawers. They are adjustable and make organizing super simple. The ends have a soft, non-skid material that grips to the drawer but does not cause any damage.
Clothing Sorter
My closets/dressers desperately needed a new organization system. Frustrated with not being able to see what clothes were in my dresser drawers because they were folded on top of each other, I turned to the KonMari method of folding. To do this, I used these clothing storage boxes to help sort and separate. I cannot describe how nice it is to now open my drawers and be able to see exactly what I have and where it goes.
Pants Hangers
Next up was organizing my closet. The closets in our house are not very big so I need to use the space wisely. One thing that drove me nuts was hanging my pants on regular hangers that would get stuck together, tangled, etc. while trying to get them out. I found these pants hangers that resolved this issue…no more mess and fighting to get them off the rack! These are heavy-duty (will not bend under the weight) and have a non-slip material so your pants stay in place.
Shelf Organizer
These convenient shelves are a great addition to any cabinet, closet, shelf, etc. when you need just a bit more vertical division and the items do not stack easily.
