Nothing says “comfort food” like homemade macaroni & cheese. This recipe is filled with cheesy goodness and bacon!
Homemade Macaroni & Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook bacon in skillet on stove over medium heat. After cooked, chop into pieces.
While cooking bacon, bring a large pot of water to a boil and add macaroni. Cook for 9-10 minutes, then drain water. Pour macaroni into a 13x9 dish and add chopped bacon. Cut up cheese and butter into slices and add to dish. Sprinkle in salt & pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients in dish with spoon.
Pour milk into dish until you see it coming up on the sides. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for about 40-45 mins.
